Online applications are invited from potential candidates through a proforma application made available on WEBSITE (http://opsc.gov.in). The link for registration / re-registration and payment of examination fee will be available from 15.02.2021 to 14.03.2021 (Note- 22.03.2021 is the last date to submit the registered online application for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor) in various states of Odisha. Level-1 of the pay scale in the public university pay scale may be in the form of general dearness allowance and other allowances under the Odisha Revised Pay Scale of the University Teachers (UGC Pay Scale of Pay) Rules, 2019 from time to time. VACANCY POSITION: –
The vacancies subject wise, university wise including reservation status and PWD reservation are indicated in Annexure-1, II & Ill respectively of this advertisement as per requisition submitted by the Higher Education department on Dt.27.11.2020, after consolidating requisition of individual universities.
3. AGE: –
Minimum age limit- The candidate must have attained the age of 21 Years as of 01.01.2021. Maximum age limit- No limit (Superannuation age becomes the maximum age limit by default). (01.01.2021 ls the reference date for calculation of age).
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
i) A Master’s degree with 55% marks {or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned / relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
APPLICATION FEE: –
A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable application fee of Rs 400 / • (Rupees four hundred) only. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe of Odisha only and Persons with disability (whose disability is not less than 40%) are exempted from payment of this fee.
